Race of life

One of my patients was operated for Colon cancer, recovery was smooth. I completed his chemotherapy. He enjoyed a very healthy life for two years. He developed recurrent disease that was removed successfully. He received 6 months chemotherapy successfully. He was in very good shape and healthy. On last day of his chemotherapy, he was about to leave the hospital. He suddenly collapsed and expired. He was not having any evidence of cancer but he couldn't escape death.
